Since our company was founded in 1991, we have continually expanded our presence in the world of jewellery and gemstones. Our path, driven by a deep interest in diamonds and a commitment to the highest professional standards, led us to launch a dedicated division for gemological and jewellery instruments and accessories. This step reflects our understanding of the needs and challenges of the jewellery industry.

Over more than 30 years, we have become one of the leading players in diamond trading. Our expertise is built on the international education and practical experience of our team, including specialists such as Vladimír Kondratěnko, GIA Diamonds Graduate and member of DiamantClub van Antwerpen, Marie Hérová, co-founder and GIA Diamonds Graduate, and Dominika, a recent GIA Diamonds Graduate.

In 2023, we expanded our activities to include hands-on training (www.areteworkshop.cz) for professionals in the jewellery sector, where we observed strong demand for instruments used to detect synthetic diamonds. This insight motivated us to provide not only training, but also the tools required for reliable detection of laboratory-created diamonds.

Arete.tools is the result of our effort to support the jewellery industry in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We are committed to delivering top-tier education together with a broad range of tools and instruments essential for modern gemologists and precise work with gemstones, especially diamonds.
