This advanced gemological microscope is equipped with all modern features for accurate evaluation of diamonds and gemstones.

The microscope has a binocular head with stereoscopic imaging for spatial viewing of the gemstone. It can be adjusted according to individual eye width using sliding eyepieces. The field of view can be continuously increased from low to high magnification using the rotary wheel. There is a fine focus on the left eyepiece for fine-tuning the sharpness of the image.

The microscope is equipped with high-quality objectives with a high resolution. Thanks to this, it provides excellent contrast and sharpness even at maximum magnification.

Several lighting modes can be used:

• Darkfield illumination - the diamond is illuminated from the side, the inclusions are clear on a black background. Ideal for examining most inclusions and evaluating purity.

• Bright field - the diamond is illuminated from below, the inclusions are dark on a light background. It is used to show the grain inside the diamond.

• Reflected light - allows you to view the surface of the facet without looking inside the diamond. Can be reached by tilting the diamond. It is used to detect damage to the diamond surface.

• Diffused light - provides soft diffused illumination suitable for detecting the surface of a diamond.

The microscope has a large working space and a comfortable height for easy handling. 

Thanks to high-quality optics, variable lighting and careful processing, this microscope is a top tool for the accurate assessment of all characteristics of precious stones, clarity, cut and symmetry of diamonds. It enables even experienced gemologists and goldsmiths to achieve the most accurate results when certifying or evaluating precious stones.

A big advantage is the possibility of connecting the camera using a C-Mount adapter. The image from the microscope can thus be projected in real time onto an external monitor. This makes it easier to present the observed gems to a larger group of people, for example when dealing with clients.
