Presidium Dial Gauge is a high-precision analog caliper designed to measure the dimensions of gemstones and directly convert to estimated carat weight for round brilliant diamonds up to 29 carats. It is the only gauge of its kind on the market that combines dual measurements-in millimetres for gemstone dimensions and simultaneous conversion to carats for round brilliant-cut gemstones. The gauge has a range of 0.0 to 23.0 mm with an accuracy of 0.1 mm and a tolerance of 0.02 mm. Its innovative construction includes a patented matrix with non-metallic, maintenance-free gear technology that resists wear and preserves measurement accuracy.
The Presidium Dial Gauge caliper is made with the highest quality in mind and features a patented matrix, a smooth sliding mechanism, and is portable and lightweight. A protective case and an attachment for measuring high-set jewellery are included. A Presidium gemstone weight estimation chart is also included for the user.
