Return Policy

We understand that a product may not always meet your expectations. We therefore provide a clear and fair return process in line with applicable consumer law.

1) 14-day withdrawal right (consumers)

If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from a distance purchase contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

• The 14-day period starts on the day after you (or a designated third party) receive the goods.
• To withdraw, contact us by email at orders@arete.tools or send a written notice to our return address.
• The deadline is met if you send your withdrawal notice before the 14-day period expires.

2) Returning goods

• Send goods back without undue delay, no later than 14 days after notifying us.
• Please return goods complete and, if possible, in original packaging.
• You are responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods.

3) Exceptions

The withdrawal right does not apply in particular to:

• customized/personalized goods made to your specification,
• sealed goods that were unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

4) Refunds

• We refund payments without undue delay after receiving the returned goods.
• Refunds are issued using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise.
• For standard withdrawals, direct return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

5) Business customers (B2B)

The statutory 14-day withdrawal right applies only to consumers. For business customers, return terms follow our commercial terms and any individual agreement.
